TAEA membership is open to Texas county employees and other at large members that provide a service to the Texas elections process.
Voting members of the association are the Elections Administrators of the Texas counties that have created the office of Elections Administrators and have appointed someone to that position as prescribed by the Texas Election code. Other elected officials in Texas counties that perform election and/or voter registration duties are associate members if they join the association. Many Elections Administrators, County Clerks, District Clerks, and Tax Assessor Collectors allow their employees to join as well. Associate memberships are also available to vendors that provide goods or services to the counties to assist in the performance of their elections duties.
